Artist Statement:
The photographs in this exhibition remind us of the past and its golden quality. Our past is a blend of days, and our perception and memory of those days can change over time. During happy times we tend to take more photographs, or maybe more to the point, we keep more photographs.
Yesterday is an assortment of happy and sad photos that will remind the viewer that Covid like other stressful events, will eventually be part of yesterday.

I really Specially like Celebrate 2012 and Genesis 1:2
Sandakala,
Thank you for your comment! Genesis 1:2 is not of my favourites of Elliana’s as well!
Lovely images! ‘Yesterday’ is a very powerful and evocative photo. ‘Dance with Me’ makes me sigh with pleasure. Congratulations on your 1st solo show!
Sandy,
Thank you for your comments! I will pass your congratulations on to the artist!
Thank you both for your comments and wishes. Glad you enjoyed my work.
Wow your pictures are very beautiful. I love the freckle one, yesterday, the tree one I found was very interesting ,it gives a calming effect but also looks very busy. With all the branches. Very cool. I hope to stop by to see your solo.
Chloe,
Thank you for your comment! I will let Elliana know that you enjoyed her work. Unfortunately because of COVID AANM’s offices remain closed and this exhibition is an online exhibition only. We’ll be glad to have you visit the office and gallery once we open again in the future!
Elliana I love how you have created lasting moments of God’s creation. Each photo draws me in and makes me think, “And God saw that it was good.” Beautiful pictures!
Kelly, so glad you enjoyed the exhibition! I will pass along your comments to Elliana, I know she will appreciate your comments very much!
Awesome photography. I love your interview as cats.
Thank you everyone who came and checked out my show.
Looking forward to tomorrow’s Feminine and Fierce, a solo online exhibition by Charlene du Toit.
