MARCC’s MISSION + MANDATE
Manitoba Artist-Run Centres Coalition (MARCC) works to ensure visual artists and artists organizations are valued in Manitoba. MARCC is made up of Manitoba artist-run centres and other not-for- profit visual arts organizations.

MARCC’s members promote the growth and development of artist-directed organizations engaged in contemporary visual and media arts. Members commit to meet regularly to share information, coordinate events, and work towards strengthening the visual arts in Winnipeg and Manitoba through advocacy, networking and public engagement.

MARCC is a member of ARCA, the national advocacy group for artist-run centres across Canada. MARCC currently has 18 member organizations, including artist-run centres, non-profit art galleries and community arts services.
