The Winnipeg Film Group (WFG) is an education, production, exhibition and distribution centre committed to promoting the art of moving image. We aspire to be a world class film centre in Manitoba that supports filmmakers, engages the community and expands the appreciation of independent cinema. Located in Winnipeg’s historic Exchange District the WFG operates the year-round Cinematheque Theatre, the only cinema of its kind in Manitoba. The WFG will be celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2024.
