We are the Paralym Art World Cup Executive Committee, and we are writing to you to ask for the participation of your organization in the “Paralym Art World Cup 2018”, our international contest of disabled art. (http://paralymart-wc.com/en/)

Paralym Art works to achieve the financial independence of disabled artists, through the rental and the licensing of art created by those with disabilities to companies and organizations across Japan. The artworks of our artists are being used in exhibitions, designs for catalog covers and calendars, and PR events by various organizations.
We are currently organizing a series of global art competitions from 2018 to 2020 in preparation for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, where disabled people from around the world show their artistic talents to promote the financial independence of disabled people from around the world, and the exchange of various cultures.
I wish to ask for the participation and cooperation of your organization and the disabled people that your organization is working with.
Applicants whose artworks that are selected for our award by our judge’s panel will win a number of prizes, including cash prize of approx. $5,000 (grand prize) and $2,500 (second prize). Award winners of key prizes will also be invited to Tokyo to attend the award ceremony to be held at the Imperial Hotel (https://www.imperialhotel.co. jp/e/tokyo/index.html) in Tokyo to attend the award ceremony and a social gala. (Airfare and accommodation included)

We hope our competition can be an opportunity for people from around the world with disabilities to integrate into society. Moreover, we hope that the competition can serve as a platform for promoting the talent of the disabled artists of your organization to Japan and to the wider world.
