Yesterday, Photography by Elliana

March 5, 2021 - April 2, 2021

Vibrant spring green poster will two round photographs with white boarders. The two images are placed in line with each other 2/3 down the poster. The image on the left is a gravel road next to a plowed field. The sky is cloudy and looks like a storm is on the way. The image has a golden glow. The photograph on the right is a close up of a white flower with a green center. There are small white petals growing from the green center. At the top of the poster is AANM’s logo with the text “Arts AccessAbility Network Manitoba presents:” Below this is the word “Yesterday” in large blue letters. Below in black the text reads “Photography by Elliana. Opening Online March 5, 2021” Below the images in black is the following text “Visit to view the exhibition”

Artist Statement:

The photographs in this exhibition remind us of the past and its golden quality. Our past is a blend of days, and our perception and memory of those days can change over time. During happy times we tend to take more photographs, or maybe more to the point, we keep more photographs.

Yesterday is an assortment of happy and sad photos that will remind the viewer that Covid like other stressful events, will eventually be part of yesterday.
