October First Friday Opening Reception

AANM is proud to present Mothering a solo exhibition by L. Zastre. L. Zastre is a self-educated artist, social justice and mental health advocate, survivor and mother living with a disability on Treaty 1 Land. Through the use of pencil, ink and paper, L.Zastre explores themes of motherhood from a diverse perspective. On October 1, 2021 join AANM for the opening reception which will be an indoor/outdoor event. From 7pm-9pm AANM will be projecting the artwork in large format onto the side of our office building at 329 Cumberland in the East parking lot. Visitors are also welcome to view the artwork inside our offices with proof of vaccination at reduced capacity.
