On August 25, 2019, the Annual Brain Injury Walk will be on its 15th year! the goal is to reach $25,000 in support of direct support services for acquired brain injury survivors and their families.
Brain injuries are becoming more common, however even the mildest form of brain injury can have short-term and long-term impact. For those who survive, they are left to face major, often life-altering challenges. For them, having a community like MBIA serves as a touchstone of hope and emotional support for the individuals living with brain injuries and their families.
MBIA has been helping individuals and families cope by offering support, education, and advocacy since 1987. We also work to prevent brain injuries through public awareness initiatives and educational programming.
