This film was created for the Free Our People Film Contest and Festival through the Center for Disability Rights New York State in Rochester, NY. The festival addressed the systemic bias in the U.S. we have toward institutionalizing people with disabilities. “In My Home” took 1st prize at the festival, August 7, 2017. This film is in support of the Olmstead Ruling, community living, and the Disability Integration Act.
