Hello Everyone!
I hope my introduction finds everyone in great health and spirits. My name is Loricia and I am very excited and honoured to have been selected as acting Director of Arts AccessAbility Network Manitoba. I would like to thank AANM for my designation.
Thank you, Susan for all your hard work and dedication over the years. Our association has thrived thanks to your leadership and the teamwork of our Board Members! We can be very proud of our upcoming 10th year anniversary next year.
I want to thank everyone for the patience you have shown while we are in transition; physical location, communication, and leadership. I apologise for any frustrations individuals must have felt when contacting us via telephone. We are expecting to be accessible by phone next week once again.
Office hours for AANM will be Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:30 to 2:30 pm at Studio Central, which as mentioned, is at 444 Kennedy Street. Please call ahead to make an appointment so we don’t miss each other and to prevent wait times, as I may already be in a meeting.
Studio Central is a vibrant space with all sorts of activities for the community members. There is some great artwork on display, engaging events and Jillian gives tours of the facilities.
I am very excited about what the future holds for our organization and look forward to meeting everyone in our contemporary endeavours.
