Become and AANM member and join our vibrant community of artists, allies, and arts organizations and help us create a Manitoba where the arts are  accessible for everyone.

When you join you will be subscribed to our members-only monthly newsletter, where you will be the first to learn about new projects, calls for art, and other upcoming AANM events.

Arts AccessAbility Network Manitoba is a not-for-profit group of artists with disabilities and stakeholders with an interest in advancing accessible arts in Manitoba. Members of the network receive information about exhibition calls, artistic opportunities, educational workshops, conferences, and networking events, as well as information on artists with disabilities, funding programs and news on disability arts and culture.

Register for your membership in 2 easy steps.

After looking through the Membership Levels and deciding which one you’d like to register for, proceed to:

  1. Select and pay for your chosen Membership Level
  2. Fill out the Member Information form. Please do not forget this step.

PLEASE NOTE: To register for FREE Membership, skip step 1 and proceed to step 2.

Membership Levels

FREE Membership

To register for the FREE Membership level, scroll down to Step 2 (Member Information form).

  • Attend FREE workshops
  • Participate in one (1) major members’ show a year
  • Submit to our juried/public shows
  • Book meetings* in our office for free (requires 2-week notice)
    *e.g. meeting with a curator, interview or consult for a commission work

Basic Membership – $20

This membership level includes everything in the free membership plus…

  • 100 word (bio/artist statement) and 2 photos on our Artist Focus Page. Ideally a photo of yourself and a photo of your artwork.

Deluxe Membership – $40

Includes everything in the FREE Membership, plus:

  • Feature in our Artist Focus page with a 200 word bio/artist statement, and four (4) photos: one (1) headshot and three (3) of your artwork.
  • Website promotion of your shows, sales, events, reviews on our website (requires 2-month notice)

Organization Membership – $80

  • Receive our AANM newsletter
  • Shared costs of 3 hours of ASL for an annual event/workshop of your choice (requires a minimum of 1-month notice))
  • 200 word write-up about your organization and two (2) photos on our Artist Focus page.

We will be happy to share your event information via social media to our membership. Send an email to info@aanm.ca and include the following information in your message:

  • If you are a fully accessible venue or not?
  • Special instructions for making accommodations?  E.g. “Please call (phone number) and speak with (name) to discuss accessibility”
  • Attach a PDF of the poster or image for the event.
  • Send a short write up and the link to be used for further information.
  • Please make a note if the event is taking place rurally.
