Mary Black is an Afro-Indigenous Artist, speaker, performer, actress and singer who debuted her very first performance at the age of 9. She has since performed for countless films, commercials, interviews and communities, from all across Turtle Island (North America). Mary partnered up with N0 L1M1T in 2020, and they have since traveled across the country creating music that incorporates Anishnaabemowin language, teachings, culture and drumming.

Mary and N0 L1M1T use their music to tell stories, ranging from coping with drug-induced psychosis to domestic violence and healthy relationships, ultimately maintaining focus on healing through sobriety and the development of positive coping mechanisms (such as writing, singing and Traditional drumming).

Mary has been sober for 11 years, while her partner has been sober over 10 years.
