The AANM Gallery is located on Treaty 1 territory, the lands of the Anishinaabeg, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, and Dene peoples, and the homeland of the Red River Métis.

How to access our space:

• Main entrance: The main entrance to the building is facing Cumberland Avenue. There is a half step up into the main entrance followed by six steps up to the main floor where the AANM office and gallery is located. The main door is not equipped with a push button (power door). Buzz 33 on the keypad to the right of the door for entry. It will make a ringing sound when it buzzes and an AANM staff will answer and buzz you in. A short beep will follow after the door latch clicks. Push the door open.
• Accessible side entrance: There is a side door on the East (right) side of the building with a ramp. Call 204-366-2366 for entry when you arrive and an AANM staff member will be happy to open the door and assist you into the AANM gallery.

Washrooms

There are two gender neutral washrooms large enough for a wheelchair to access. There are grab bars in each washroom, one located behind the toilet and the second to the side of the toilet. Sinks are wall mounted.

The washrooms do not have a baby changing table. If you need access to a space to change your baby while visiting, please let an AANM staff member know.

Parking

There is an Impark lot next to the building along Cumberland Avenue (on the east / right side when you are facing the main entrance). Please pay attention to the “Reserved” and “No Parking” spots.

There are 2-hour metered street parking spots on Hargrave St., Cumberland Ave., and Notre Dame Ave. (with 2 hours free on Saturdays). Metered parking is paid through PayByPhone through the app, online at paybyphone.com, or by calling 888-680-7275.

There are 2-hour free parking spots available on the west side of Hargrave St. on Notre Dame Ave in the sough (left) lane of the one-way street. The north (right) lane also has two hour free parking, towing is enforced at peak hours, please check the signs carefully.

• Bus # 65, 66: Southbound Donald at Ellice, is located 230 metres from the centre

Bike Storage

We do noe have a bike rack. Please let an AANM staff member know where you can safely store your bike during your visit.
