November 7 | 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Join us on November 7, 2026 at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights or online via Zoom, for the launch of Disability Ways: An anthology about d/Deaf and disabled writers edited by Diane Driedger and L(ani) Zastre.
EVENT DETAILS: November 7, 2026 | 2pm-4pm CDT | Canadian Museum for Human Rights, 85 Israel Asper Way, Winnipeg, MB | ASL interpretation provided
In Disability Ways, d/Deaf and disabled people write about how their disability benefits them and how our communities, cultures and society are enriched through a disability perspective. Society has tended to view disability as a tragedy, as something to be fixed, as a negative force and burden. This anthology turns this view on its head. It includes the contributions of 33 people, from across Canada, and California.
