Join us for an evening of two illuminating short films, “Cripping Climate Adaptation” and “Wings Rising: Disability Justice, Art and Education”.

Cripping Climate Adaptation explores the challenge of bringing disabled people’s voices to the table in discussing how we’re dealing with climate change.

Wings Rising: Disability Justice, Art and Education highlights Wingspan, an innovative program that brought Deaf and disabled artists into the schools in 2024.

This evening will also include three speakers:

  • Erika McPherson – filmmaker, co-director of Cripping Climate Adaptation
  • Candace Lipischak – sculptor and multidisciplinary artist, Wingspan participant
  • Connor Derraugh – jazz musician, Wingspan participant
