Requirements To Be Featured:
Be an artist with a disability / disabled artist. Doesn’t matter what your medium is (painting/drawing, sculpture, music, dance, writing, etc)
Be a member of AANM
It’s really that simple.
If you’re interested in being featured in the Artist Focus, email the Executive Administrator at info at aanm dot ca with your name, a short blurb about who you are and what you art form is, and a photo of an example of your work if you have one. If you’re chosen by the board we will get in touch to start working on your Artist Focus.
What Your Artist Focus Will Be Comprised Of
If you don’t have one, when we come to interview you we’ll take one for you that you. This will be a portrait that you will receive in high resolution digital format when your Focus launches for you to use yourself in the future

If you don’t have photos already, we can take some when we come to interview you and you will receive high resolution digital format copies of them for your own portfolio when your Artist Focus launches

Once you send us your write up, we would love to come and meet you (within the city, outside the city we may have to get creative) and record a short interview about your life, your work, and your connection to the accessibility arts community. Each video will be 3-5 minutes long and posted publicly on our YouTube channel.
Interested? Fill in the form below as thoroughly as you can, and the Executive Administrator will be in touch with you within a few days.
